G&A was tasked by Lower Perkiomen Valley Regional Sewer Authority (LPVRSA) to repair/replace the existing, corroded, structural supports on its four secondary clarifier tank catwalks. G&A  designed new stainless steel supports to replace the existing aluminum supports for the catwalks. Individual structural designs were required for Tanks 1 & 2 and Tanks 3 & 4 due to differences in the tanks. Both structural designs called for the new steel supports to be installed alongside the existing supports, which were later removed, so that the catwalks were never taken out of commission during construction. G&A worked closely with both the Contractor and Owner to ensure that construction did not interfere with plant operations when each tank was taken down for the repairs. G&A provided design, bidding services, construction observation, and construction administration over the course of this project.
