Over the last decade, Kids Castle underwent much needed renovations and improvements.  The Friends of Kids Castle completed the reconstruction of an inclusive, sensory, and accessible play area and structure to a portion of the playground around the castle.  Our survey department prepared a topographic and physical features survey of an area around the Kids Castle that was used as the base map for engineering design of improvements to the park. G&A then completed the next phase of the project including two more areas of poured in place play surfacing, additional equipment around the castle structure, and bumping out and replacing the perimeter fencing with a curb and fencing combination to match the previous phase.  The playground is once again welcoming visitors of all abilities for many years to come.
