Court and State Streets Redevelopment

G&A was contracted by Court & State, LLC to aid in the redevelopment of a 1.2 acre site in the heart of Newtown Borough, Bucks County.  The development includes six new twin-family dwellings, four detached garages, new pedestrian sidewalks, and a courtyard area.

The site previously contained two single-family homes, a parking lot, and an old car service center creating multiple challenges such as contaminated soils, structural encroachments from the neighboring lots, and limited utility infrastructure in the surrounding borough roads.  In early 2022 excavation for the subsurface infiltration gallery slated for the new community’s parking area was completed.  This sustainable feature had to be carefully designed to work with site constraints, but only after environmental due diligence was completed by G&A’s environmental geoscience group.

G&A provided site survey, concept planning, zoning hearing board testimony, environmental contaminant analysis, soils engineering, land development, and landscape architecture.
