The heavily congested intersection of North Reading, Montgomery, and Henry Avenues was a closely-spaced, three-way intersection that lacked adequate pedestrian and vehicle accessibility and mobility facilities. G&A provided full survey, engineering design, and regulatory agency permitting services proposing the installation of a traffic signal, left turn lanes, sidewalks, and ADA-compliant curb ramps. The project  improved the overall operation of the intersection, created better access management, enhanced sight distance for turning vehicles, improved entry along adjacent roadways, and increased the safety, mobility, and response time of emergency vehicles.

PennDOT District 5-0 issued a Highway Occupancy Permit for the project in 2020.  G&A assisted in obtaining regulatory agency permitting and a DCED Multimodal Transportation Fund grant to aid in funding the project.   G&A prepared bid documentation.  Construction was completed in the spring of 2023.
