In 2020, Bensalem Township completed the construction of the Bensalem Township Central Park Trail, a project to install a safe and accessible pedestrian trail connection from Hulmeville Road to Bensalem Township Central Park.  G&A provided planning, grant writing, landscape architecture, civil engineering, and construction observation services to the township. Two grants were awarded to fully fund the project and included applications and presentations to the Bucks County Open Space Program and the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development. Funds were specifically awarded to support a trail connection between multiple schools and neighborhoods and the most celebrated park in the township. Additional benefits include new connections to the local library, police and park offices, and the local inclusive playground, Imagination Land Playground.  The final project includes a new 900-foot macadam pathway, ADA parking area, special safety gates, fencing, trees, and wayfinding signage.
