This project renovated and expanded over 25 acres of the existing community park facilities located at the former U.S. Naval Air Development Center in Warminster, PA. The existing park is over 200 acres of open space, walking trails, playgrounds, athletic fields, dog park space, and other miscellaneous amenities.  G&A managed the project and combination of grants from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program and Department of Conservation and Natural Resources plus matching funds obtained through both public and private sources, to supply the anticipated $3.5 million needed. Improvements included baseball and soccer fields, walking trails, new playground, pavilion with restrooms, and other related upgrades.  In addition to the on-site land design and landscaping improvements, G&A’s traffic department obtained a Highway Occupancy Permit to modify the existing intersection at Bristol Road and Hatboro Road.  These modifications included a through road providing access between Veterans Way and Bristol Road and additional parking expansion.  G&A provided a wide range of services including grant application, permitting compliance, land design, and construction management.
