Neshaminy Greenway Trail Construction Observation

The Neshaminy Greenway Trail is a county-wide effort to construct a shared-use trail that expands throughout the local area.  The purpose of this project was to construct a trail through New Britain and Doylestown Township connecting an existing trail on Forrest Drive to another on Upper State Road at the Chalfont New Britain Township Joint Sewage Authority.  A subsequent project is currently being designed and permitted to connect the trail along the creek to the existing trail at Upper State Road and Leapson Lane through Township parkland.

G&A representatives served as PennDOT Inspectors-in-Charge responsible for site observation and project management within the PennDOT Engineering and Construction Management System (ECMS) and PennDOT Project Collaboration Center (PPCC).  G&A managed the correspondence between all involved parties, including the Townships, PennDOT, PECO, the design engineer, contractors, and residents.
