The Liberty Bell Trail Feasibility Study examines the Liberty Bell Trail sections needed to link eight municipalities in Bucks County, and connect local businesses and park resources with thousands of residents and visitors. The eight municipalities include Telford, Sellersville, Perkasie, and Quakertown Boroughs, and Hilltown, West Rockhill, East Rockhill, and Richland Townships.

The study included a review of existing support for the Liberty Bell Trail and trails in general; an analysis of the existing conditions of the suggested trail corridor; and recommendations to proceed with specific trail alignments. Special focus areas including intersections, an abandoned trolley line bed, and a park gateway entrance were given additional engineering effort. Design solutions, recommendations, an Action Plan, and cost estimates for implementing trail sections were included in the plan.
