Haverford High School Redevelopment

The School District of Haverford Township constructed two new classroom building additions to the existing Haverford High School, which, according to a recent demographic study, will be subject to student population growth of an additional 400 students by the year 2026.   The redevelopment plan included the demolition of a portion of the existing parking lot and the construction of a 8,468 SF one-story classroom addition and a 6,727 SF three-story classroom addition both with vegetated roofs.  The plan also included accessways with sidewalk, off-street and on-street parking, and the use of existing and proposed stormwater management best management practices (BMPs).  Other improvements included utilities, landscaping, lighting, and amenities.
