Doylestown Borough Municipal Complex and
Broad Commons Park Redevelopment

For nearly two-decades, Doylestown Borough has anticipated redevelopment of the PennDOT Maintenance Facility into it’s new Municipal Complex and 3.5 acre community park.  In 2015, the Borough began actively planning redevelopment of the site in advance of PennDOT’s anticipated 2020 relocation.  G&A assisted Doylestown Borough with the lengthy process of planning, designing, permitting, and construction of this industrial site.

G&A provided services including site planning and extensive community outreach; development of numerous concept plans; survey of  existing conditions; environmental services; site design, landscaping and lighting, stormwater management design, and permitting; and public bidding and construction support.  G&A assisted in multiple successful grant applications for funding including $325K from the Bucks County Open Space Program; $250K from the DCNR Community Conservation Partnerships Program; and $1.5M from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program to support the environmental cleanup, adaptive reuse, and redevelopment of the property.
