G&A redesigned Seger Park, in the Washington Square West neighborhood of Philadelphia, reorganizing the park around a central pedestrian walkway, grouping park uses together and creating clear circulation patterns. The new multi-purpose plaza includes a spray park and shaded seating, and a new pedestrian plaza offers a comfortable space for seating and passive use. The new dog park includes synthetic turf and separate areas for large and small dogs. A new athletic lawn provides adequate space for pick-up soccer games, while reorganization of the existing basketball courts allow for a new dedicated pickleball court.
