G&A prepared the complete Land Development Design Plans for the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Phase 1 of the project included the construction of the church, chapel, offices, parking areas, and playfields. Phase 2 included the construction of a Religious Education Center and Rectory. The site’s design incorporates many environmentally conscious features including porous paving parking lots and attractive bio-retention stormwater management facilities. Site lighting is also a key component to this site design, as it is minimized to reduce light pollution of the night sky without sacrificing pedestrian safety. A great deal of effort and foresight was included in pedestrian walking path layouts and handicapped accessibility for those paths, both on-site and at the nearby state road intersections.
