G&A teamed with Hayes Large Architects on an Athletic Stadium for the Central Bucks School District at the CB East High School. The key components include a synthetic turf playing surface, eight lane running track, concession stand, and seating for 3,000. A separate practice football field provides event space for javelin, discus throw, and shot put. G&A provided civil engineering design for the stadium components including stormwater management solutions that were completed to accommodate regional karst geology. The stadium is named for the school’s mascot in honor of all who serve. The field on which they play will be named in honor of First Lt. Colby Umbrell, the only graduate of the school who lost his life in military service for his country.
