In an effort to meet community and regional needs, G&A’s Kevin Selger, R.L.A., ASLA, LEED^® AP, Director of Landscape Architecture & Planning and Thomas McIntyre, Landscape Designer, along with colleagues from Stantec and DigSau, volunteered to develop a conceptual design for the new West Parkside Youth Sports Facility. The proposed center features a double-height lobby and large central staircase that work as a gathering and performance space – with an airy fitness center above. The project will restore street frontage on Parkside Avenue and 49th Street and create a more animated corridor along West Fairmount Park.
