Many municipalities that we assist with MS4 permitting already have existing detention basins that contain the necessary basic infrastructure that can be modified to add additional stormwater quality benefits or enhance infiltration capacity. Such basin retrofits are a financially attractive alternative to installing a brand new stormwater BMP.
