Gilmore & Associates was pleased to take part in the fundraiser for Phase One of the Rail Park, held at Union Transfer, Philadelphia PA. The proposed “Philadelphia Rail Park” is a three-mile long rail park that would run through some of Philadelphia’s most populated (but under-parked) neighborhoods.
Friends of the Rail Park is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to cultivate visions and advocate for a continuous three-mile linear park and recreation path in Philadelphia, connecting many neighborhoods and cultural institutions to Fairmount Park along the historic elevated Reading Viaduct and City Branch rail cut of the former Philadelphia and Reading Railroad.

This “dramatic change” will encompass a sustainable design while providing a cityscape that will be aesthetically inviting to all for generations to come.
