What better way to celebrate Arbor Day than joining Heritage Conservancy’s Property Stewardship staff as they begin the multi-year project transforming the 100 acre Lindsay Park Farm Preserve. This year they started by installing a 15 acre pollinator meadow and today G&A staff planted 100 trees and shrubs that will surround the meadow.
Last week G&A was honored to receive the Heritage Conservancy’s Preservation Partner Award. G&A’s Executive Vice President, Greg Glitzer, P.E. accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
“Collaboration has nurtured a conservation mindset in many of us at Gilmore,” said Greg. “We know that full preservation of signature properties is an increasingly difficult proposition and a rare opportunity. As planners and land designers, we can let that conservation ethic permeate our everyday work. On behalf of Gilmore & Associates, we want to thank Heritage Conservancy for this Preservation Partner Award, with the emphasis on the word partner.”
