(Certified Building Official(s) to administer the provisions of Act 45 (UCC))

Building inspections being performed includes all aspects of residential and commercial construction inspection, except electrical which is being accomplished through the use of certified third party inspectors, (e.g. footing, foundation, frame, rough plumbing, rough mechanical, and final).

Upon adoption of the opt-in provision of Act 45, the Uniform Construction Act, Gilmore & Associates, Inc. will also assume the responsibility of conducting plan reviews and inspections for Accessibility. These duties require separate certification before they may be assumed from PA Labor & Industry.

Several commercial/institutional projects (to date) for which Gilmore & Associates, Inc. has been and continues to provide inspections at various phases of construction are the Ursinus College Performing Arts Center and the retrofitting of Ursinus College dormitories with fire protection sprinkler systems. With two large shopping centers located in Collegeville Borough, there is a continuous turnover of tenants precipitating the need for building and sign permits.
