Gilmore & Associates, Inc. provided site engineering for this 1,100 student capacity middle school in the Radnor Township School District. Scope of work for this project included development of site/civil plans and specifications for construction documents, and coordination of Township Land Development and Zoning approvals. The project incorporates the reuse of the existing middle school property. Aspects of the LEED initiative include proximity to mass transit; stormwater reuse with porous paving; green roof; geothermal heating and cooling system; and reuse and recycling of building materials from existing building to be demolished. Demolition of the existing school will follow completion of the new building.
