This project includes the design of a new regional pump station to serve the Lodal Creek basin in the eastern portion of Limerick Township, Montgomery County. The project will involve
a sewage collection system comprised of a 10 and 12-inch sanitary sewer interceptor (approx. 2200 linear feet) along Lodal Creek which will result in the decommission of an existing
pump station. Also, approximately 1700 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer will be extended along Graterford Road to Township Line Road to provide service to residents with existing
on-lot septic systems.
The pump station located on Graterford Road will discharge via a 6-inch ductile-iron pipe force main (approx. 2000 lf.) to an existing manhole located on Township Line Road. The
pump station is designed for an average daily flow of 96,480 gallons per day and a peak instantaneous flow of 460,800 gallons per day.
