Gilmore & Associates, Inc. provided remediation services including oversight of removal and post excavation sampling as well as final report writing for the removal of PCB-contaminated soils due to an EPA consent order.

Previously a foreclosed property, the site was listed on the EPA National Priorities List (NPL). EPA released the site from the NPA, and allowed the client to remediate the site to residential standards and re-use the property without restriction.

Gilmore and Associates, Inc. worked with EPA’s on-scene coordinator to develop a Response Action Plan (RAP), which was followed through project completion. Contaminated soils were removed and placed in an approved landfill, and post excavation sampling was conducted to confirm the Site was remediated to the 1ppm residential health standard, and to EPA satisfaction.
