Mr. Young has more than 19 years of experience in the planning, engineering, and construction of a variety of civil engineering projects. Mr. Young has an extensive background which includes Residential, Commercial, Institutional, and Industrial projects. Mr. Young has performed ordinance compliance reviews and has prepared land development plans showing horizontal layout, existing features, grading, utilities, drainage areas, erosion and sediment control measures, construction details, and road and utility profiles.

Road restoration projects ranged for mill and overlay to full depth road reconstruction. Prepared conceptual design and preliminary construction costs, presented concept to Township Supervisors, prepared design plans and bid specifications, obtain various county, state and federal permits, provided bid and contract administration, provided construction observation, and project close-out.
Upper Southampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania
Stormwater improvement projects ranged from culvert replacement to construction of bio-retention and constructed wetland facilities. Prepared a conceptual design and provided preliminary construction costs for growing greener grants, presented concept to Township Supervisors, prepared design plans and bid specifications, obtain various county, state and federal permits, provided bid and contract administration, provided construction observation, and project close-out.

Prepared plans and bid specifications for enlargement of an existing road culvert crossing to reduce flooding on surrounding properties. Analyzed the stream’s water surface before and after the culvert installation. Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania
An age restricted community containing approximately 75 townhouses. Improvement consists of full widening of perimeter roads, introduction of auxiliary turn lanes, stormwater and sanitary pipes, stormwater detention facilities, street trees, and landscaping berms around perimeter of the property.
Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania
A single family residential development the occurred on two distinctly different properties where the developer exercised the transfer of development rights from one property to another in order to preserve farmland and open space. The development consisted of 150 lots and proposed improvements such as stormwater and sanitary sewers, two stormwater detention facilities, street trees, and landscaping. The development was built out in three phases.
Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania
An Architect was in charge of retrofitting an existing storage building into a library while I was responsible for designing and bidding out the site improvements which include a detention/infiltration facility, parking lot, landscaping and water and sewer service connections. The design of the stormwater facilities was consistent with the NPDES requirements for water quality.
Newtown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania
A combination single family and townhouse residential development which consisted of 49 single family lots and 100 townhouse lots. The proposed improvements included design and implementation of a regional basin, stormwater and sanitary sewers, two stormwater detention facilities in series, street trees, and landscaping. Also, offsite drainage improvements were designed and constructed downstream of residential development.
